Oh La La! Quintet - A Night of French Music
Back by popular demand, Oh La La! mixes Parisian folk music (musette) and French chanson with unforgettable upbeat 20s to smooth 50s jazz, film noir and nouvelle vague film music, plus the occasional cool 60s French pop song. Every now and then, they give you one of their original tunes too!
The dulcet tones of Parisian-born Fifi la Mer's voice and the evocative sound of her accordion blend with the talents of Oliver Wilby on clarinet to take you straight back to that little café by the Eiffel tower. Then, encouraged by the exuberance of Alex Garnett on tenor sax, they will transport you to that buzzy jazz club by Pigalle with the help of Simon Picton on guitar and the groove of Julian Bury on double bass.
