Sea Journals of a Cornish Mariner

An exhibition inspired by the recently rediscovered diaries of Julia's Cornish Great Grandfather, John Henry Lowry, written in the1890's.  The exhibition explores Johns adventures as a Mariner and the fates of those around him at sea.  Julia McKenzie is an artist and Illustrator living in Somerset. She makes ceramics, drawings, papercuts, paintings, and prints which often feature maps and charts in her work.

The exhibition will run from Tuesday 4th November to Friday 21st November 2025. Welcoming visitors from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM
