Ilminster Roman Ring Discovery Day
Celebrate one of the South West's most remarkable Roman discoveries. See the extraordinary Ilminster Roman Ring and Coin Hoard, enjoy free family activities, and uncover the story of this remarkable find.
Dating to around AD 297, the Ilminster Roman Ring is an exceptional gold finger ring set with an engraved gemstone depicting the goddess Victory driving a two-horse chariot. Rare in both size and craftsmanship, it is a unique discovery for South West England.
All activities are free and suitable for all ages. Children may require supervision for some activities.
